sodas

That was my fav shot. For those who dont have a clue, then let me explain. They are ancient coke. Typical soda water. Gas is pumped into the bottles containing drinking water. If the bottle contains lemon juice then it becomes lemon soda. If its colored water, then its color soda. Its a great relief for people a couple of decades back. I know people who used to bath with those during summer. They are so cute that i couldnt resist to click a shot. I found one person hand sellin them during religious festival. He was fast n quite busy sellling them that i couldnt get few more shots.
But i am happy with one good shot.

I used to love these Goli Soda and the simple but smart principle behind it amazes me. The basic principle is by using the pressure of the carbonated drink to keep the lid tight. If you notice there is no lid, rather a permanent marble is kept inside the bottle (you can't remove it) to keep the bottle closed when the CO2 is pumped into the bottle.
To drink it, you open the bottle by pressing the marble down. Usually hitting with a custom wooden block works. Then it is tricky to lock the marble in a hook designed in the bottle so it doesn't cover the opening right back.
Nice picture. Good work.

Just a FYI Coke is type of cola, so goli soda is not coke neiter it is type of cola. Its plain carbonated water or soda. Tough there are flavored versions of the soda was availble in goli soda bottle.
